Got assignment the other day. Could last for two day or two months depending on what they do. The people that were here moved to the new site of the rig. We are here for the rig teardown and maybe a frac.
We have had some busy days with 141, 157, 212, 180 log ins, and outs. A far cry from our last few gates where we averaged 20-30 a day. Reports vary according to who you talk too as to whether we will be here for the frac. We are hoping that is so. One report from one of the guys who set us up is that they will be doing 5 fracs here……we will see.
Our location…..
N28.80065 W097.95517 If you look at Google satellite you will see a big pond across the access road from us. That is for the fracs. They brought in pumps yesterday and started putting down pipe from the pumps to the site.
It took them two days to tear down and move the rig. It comes apart in pieces that fit on big 4 and 5 axle trailers and some of the sections hang over the sides of the trailer and need an escort.
Our pad is not very level and our street side wheels are off of the ground.
Linda has been fighting a bad cold (flu) since we left Betty’s on the 6th. Mine has been not so bad.
Hope all is well
Love to all of ya
Jim and Linda
